I provide essential, social companionship and household assistance to help the elderly maintain independence at home and reduce isolation. I also offer a broader drop-in service to cover holidays and work trips ensuring your property, relatives and pets are well looked after. This can also include general housework and garden maintenance.
I work across Surrey in the UK – predominantly covering the Reigate and Banstead borough.

I offer the following 3 types of service. Companionship and support, property drop-in and additional care.
1. Companionship and support for the elderly and wider community (time slots of either 1, 2 or 3 hours preferred by clients)
* Social – Talk and chat, take a walk or chair exercise, read a newspaper/book or bible and play board games or outdoor activities like garden bowls.
* Cleaning – Vacuuming, dusting, tidying and emptying dustbins.
* Gardening – Mowing the lawn, trimming borders, raking leaves, de-weeding and pruning small bushes/shrubs.
* DIY – Examples include changing lightbulbs, hanging pictures, assembling furniture and decorating/painting touch-ups, etc.
* Online virtual meeting – I also offer an online service for companionship calls when visiting a location may not be possible.
2. Drop-in service whilst you’re away (time slots of either 30 mins or 1 hour preferred by clients)
* House checks – Pick up the post, open/close curtains, turn on/off lights and take in/out waste bins.
* Small pets – Check and feed cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other domestic pets.
3. Additional care and support duties (time slots booked dependent on time required by clients)
* Miscellaneous help – Food shopping or prescription collection, transportation and assistance at appointments, parcel collection and delivery, TV and streaming technology set-up, computer and mobile phone help. You may have elderly parents, relatives or friends and your own personal circumstances don’t make it possible for you to give the daily support you’d like to. Perhaps you:
– live somewhere else in the UK and you’re not able to pop-in regularly;
– work overseas and only come back to Surrey a few times a year;
– are the sole carer and you need a short break to recharge;
– you’re going away on a work trip or holiday and need cover for a period of time; or
– you just need someone to lend a helping hand around your home or garden.
I provide repeat, flexible visits to my clients on a regular basis – either weekly, monthly or quarterly. Daily visits are possible with advanced notice. Simply select the option that works best for you.
